Biography

Louise Benchetrit is a Policy Analyst with a career spanning public administration, international cooperation, and sustainable development. Currently at the European Commission (DG ECFIN), she assesses and negotiates implementation of measures within France’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, governed by the EU’s first performance-based instrument (the RRF). Additionally, she contributes to the drafting of policy recommendations on energy, transport, and decarbonisation within the European Semester. Previously, Louise managed sustainability initiatives under the EUniWell alliance and led international development projects in Tunisia and Italy. She holds an MA in Politics from Glasgow University and is a native English-French bilingual, fluent in Italian.
