Michael Guterbock is a thought leader, writer, researcher and the co-founder of Lynx Advisors. Michael has 20 years of experience in international policy coordination and health diplomacy across multiple geographies. He advises a diverse portfolio of organisations including private industry such as the Economist Intelligence Unit and government entities such as the US Administration for Preparedness and Response. He possesses expertise in policy analysis, geo-political risk and program implementation. Michael is based in Bologna, Italy, where he is completing his Doctorate in International Affairs at The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He holds dual master's degrees in international relations and global health. As a Visiting Fellow at the Florence School of Transnational Governance, Michael will research geo-economic competition between great powers, namely: China, EU, Russia and the US. His research is twofold: (1) he will examine historical and contemporary geo-economic competition between great powers; (2) he will also assess the potential of EU and US support to build critical infrastructure resilience for Ukraine and enhance EU critical infrastructure security.
