Biography

Oula Ahmad is a Syrian humanitarian professional with over a decade of experience in protection, social policy, and programme management across the Middle East. She currently serves as Grants & Fundraising Manager at MOSAIC NGO and is pursuing a master's in human Rights and Conflict Management at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Italy. She also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Action from the University of Geneva.

Her career includes senior roles at UNHCR (Senior Protection Assistant), UNICEF (Social Policy Technical Facilitator), and Save the Children, focusing on protection monitoring, case management, social protection systems, and community-based resilience. She has managed UNICEF-funded projects and worked extensively with displaced populations in Syria and Lebanon.

Oula has participated in international forums including the World Youth Forum in Egypt and the Global Youth Diplomacy Conference, and has completed advanced training in nonviolent conflict transformation, anti-bias, and situational protection.

Her expertise includes protection, M&E, stakeholder engagement, donor reporting, and project management in complex settings. She is fluent in Arabic and English.

She is eager to contribute her field experience to the Policy Leader Fellows community and deepen her understanding of transnational governance and inclusive, locally grounded policy solutions.
