Biography

Rexhina Koçia is a banking professional with over 17 years of experience, specialising in risk assessment and the supervision of financial institutions. For the last 10 years, she has served in the Supervision Department of the Bank of Albania. Her previous roles in commercial banks encompassed credit risk portfolio management, business management, recovery strategies, and financial analysis. In addition to her banking career, she lectures part-time at Aleksander Moisiu University. She has further developed her skills through training and certifications on sustainable finance, non-performing loan management, financial sector surveillance, financial markets, and banking supervision. Rexhina holds a Master in Business Law from Marlin Barleti University and an Integrated Bachelor's and Master in Business Management from Tirana University. In addition to Albanian, she is proficient in English and Italian, and has basic knowledge of Greek.
