Biography

Teresa García de Alcaraz Ruiz is an FPI-funded PhD candidate in Communication at the University of Murcia, Spain. She conducts her doctoral research within the CyberDataLab research group, in a computer science–oriented environment. Her academic background includes Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Information and Documentation, as well as a Master’s degree in Mobile Communication and Digital Content.

Her doctoral research analyzes disinformation ecosystems, while developing cyber-intelligence-based tools designed for actors engaged in information verification. Her research interests include online disinformation, information manipulation's role in cognitive security and hybrid conflicts, and the integration of LLMs with semiotic protocols for narrative analysis platforms.
