Biography

Vasundhara Mallick completed her PhD in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. Her primary research interest lies in the field of microeconomic theory, with a focus on Mechanism Design and Organizational Economics. Her work focuses on issues of limited commitment and control in mechanism design, and investigating its implications for markets and organisations. As a Max Weber Fellow, Vasundhara aims to further her understanding of intermediation in markets with asymmetric information, which is also the focus of one of the papers from her dissertation. Vasundhara has experience serving as a teaching assistant for graduate game theory and the first year PhD microeconom.
