Description
This seminar is offered to the Young African Leaders Programme (YALP) Fellows and researchers of the Law Department. It aims to:
• Generate a rich understanding of the concepts ‘peace’, ‘justice’ and ‘transitional justice’;
• Ensure hands-on experience with applying law (the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and the Draft Articles for a Convention and Conflict Prevention and Resolution) to concrete situations;
• Develop and apply negotiating and drafting skills;
• Promote collaboration between YALP fellows and law researchers.
**Note that there are 15 spots available in the seminar for Law researchers. A waiting list has been activated and in the event that more than 15 researchers enrol, priority will be given to those in more advanced years of the PhD programme.
First, Second & Third Term: registration from 25 to 28 September
