Description
The course provides the students the conceptual and analytical tools for the study of the global security environment. What are the political trends affecting global security? How should the threats be conceptualized? Furthermore, the course addresses the discourse around ‘hybrid threats’: their character and political background. How can solutions and instruments of transnational governance be utilized to address the overall security threats?
The students are provided both topical insights and awareness about the current security landscapes and a preparedness to approach them with appropriate scholarly concepts and theory.
