The City of Fiesole and the EUI have organised a welcome reception for all new EUI researchers and fellows.
The reception took place in Piazza Mino, Fiesole, on Thursday 8 September at 19.00 and the whole EUI Academic Community was cordially invited to attend.
The Official Welcome by the Major of Fiesole, Fabio Incatasciato, and the President of the EUI, Josep Borrell, was followed by the performance of the Saxophone Quartet "Steel Wind", and later a cocktail and a food tasting was provided by some local restaurants and farmers.
Fiesole is a small village located on a famously scenic height above Florence. Piazza Mino, named after the sculptor Mino da Fiesole, is Fiesole's main square.
