Biography

Joshua Derman is Associate Professor of Humanities at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he teaches modern European history, world history, and the history of social and political thought. He received his Ph.D. in modern European history from Princeton University, and his B.A. in philosophy from Harvard University.
