Biography

Justin received his Ph.D. in economics in the summer of 2011 and was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute for the academic year 2011/2012.
He is currently a research fellow at the WZB (Market and Politics Research Unit).
His main research interests are Political Economy and Applied Economic Theory. His current research focuses on supranational governance. More specifically, he studies how political institutions such as representative democracy and redistributionary spending can be achieved at the supranational level
