Biography

Damjan studied law at the University of Ljubljana, and earned his LLM and doctorate at Harvard.
His dissertation is titled ‘Hierarchies as Law’.
He taught at Harvard Law School, at FGV Law School in Rio de Janeiro and Kent Law School in Brussels, and lectured at several universities in Europe and the United States.
He practiced, among other places, at the Legal Service of the European Commission, the European Court of Justice and at the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
My research and teaching interests include international trade, antitrust law, private law and legal and social theory.
