Biography

Marta Migliorati, after obtaining an M.A. in EU public policy from University College London, was awarded her Ph.D. in Political Studies by the University of Milan, Italy. Before joining the EUI as a Max Weber Fellow, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Jacques Delors Centre of the Hertie School in Berlin. Her research interest run from regulation and expertise, agencification and executive politics, to European integration theories and the processes of core state powers integration in the EU. During her Fellowship she plans to continue her current work on differentiated integration, as well as develop new research agendas in her fields of expertise.

Expertise for Teaching and Mentoring of Ph.D. Researchers
Marta has experience as a teaching assistant in comparative politics (B.A.) and EU governance (M.A.) from the University of Milan. Moreover, during her postdoc at Hertie she designed and taught a course in Policymaking in the European Union for the M.A. in Public Policy programme. Finally, she taught a course in European Studies to exchange students (both M.A. and B.A.) from the US for a private Berlin-based institute.
