Financial Operations Unit

The Financial Operations Unit supports all administrative and academic units in implementing the budget. Within its remit, it manages the Institute’s budget funds as well as funds derived from external sources. Overall, 96 % of the EUI budget is directly managed by it.

The Unit is also responsible for calculating and paying salaries, pensions and other financial entitlements of all the EUI's contract holders.

Within the Unit, there is a team which in collaboration with project managers and teaching staff in the Departments, Centres, Programmes, School of Transnational Governance and other administrative units specialises in preparing requests for reseach projects' funding and in that way provides support to the EUI's fundraising activities.
