CUTS International is a leading southern voice for pro-development, pro-equity public policy reforms, particularly in the Bay of Bengal region and in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The two parties will develop initiatives on topics of common interest, focusing specifically on rule-based trade, good and transnational governance and sustainable development.

Under the partnership, the EUI and CUTS International will co-organise events and research activities, including high-level policy dialogues, workshops and executive education trainings; promote staff visits; and engage with stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion, Bernard Hoekman, Dean of External Relations at the EUI, said, “The EUI is very pleased to establish the partnership with CUTS International, a prominent advocate for sustainable development and a rules-based multilateral order. The EUI and CUTS International have the shared ambition of contributing ideas to improve global economic governance. We look forward to a very fruitful collaboration.”

Mr. Pradeep S. Mehta, Secretary General, CUTS International said, “We are delighted to collaborate with EUI to improve research and evidence-based policy dialogues. I am confident that this collaboration will benefit a large number of stakeholders in the near future as well as in the long term.”
