Internet Problems

Contrary to the notice circulated yesterday evening, we continue to experience problems with the Institute’s Internet carrier resulting in the interruption of Internet connections and E-mail functionality. 

We apologize for this … which is beyond our control. The main backbone of the entire Florence Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) has undergone a power failure. All academic institutions relying on our same provider have likewise lost Internet connectivity. The provider's technicians are working to resolve the problem.
