The European University Institute (EUI) and the Universidad de los Andes (UNIANDES) have signed a partnership agreement. The new partnership will enhance the EUI’s engagement with Latin America, in particular related to issues of regional integration, public policy and governance, as well as EU-Latin America relations.
UNIANDES School of Government 'Alberto Lleras Camargo' will work closely with the EUI’s School of Transnational Governance, as both share the objective to train future leaders. The two partners will collaborate on master student exchanges and joint executive trainings and summer schools, with a main focus on transnational governance, among other things. Conflict management will be of particular interest in joint research projects.
UNIANDES, headquartered in Bogotà, Colombia, was founded in 1948 with the mission of establishing a secular, non-for-profit, private higher education institution, dedicated to academic excellence in the Colombian context. UNIANDES is the only private university in Colombia with a Colombian National Education Ministry Quality Accreditation.
