Welcome to the Human Resources Service

The mission of the Human Resources Service is two-fold: to assist and advise the President and the Secretary General in organising and managing the EUI’s administrative operations in the field of human resources and to support the academic branch of the EUI in fulfilling its institutional goals, as provided for in the Convention in terms of teaching and research.

The HR Service covers a broad set of responsibilities in recruiting, administering, training, and advising EUI staff in different contractual categories. This involves:

  • developing and revising policies and procedures
  • assisting in performance management and promotions
  • maintaining productive staff relations
  • helping to create an enabling and professional working environment in order to attract and retain highly qualified professionals.
