The optional Diploma examination takes place on the last day of each course, usually on Friday morning.

Course outlines and reading materials will be provided in due time before the starting date of the course.

There is an examination on the last day of the course. You can choose to take this examination but this is not mandatory. About 25% of course participants choose to take the examination.

The Diploma of the Academy of European Law is awarded to course participants who submit an excellent examination paper. Each year, the Diploma is awarded to 2 - 5 participants on each course. More information about the Diploma here.

A certificate of attendance is given at the end of the course to those participants who have attended all the classes.

The EUI does not operate the ECTS system. Upon request, we can issue a certificate specifying the number of hours of the course you have attended. Some of our past participants have used this certification to obtain credits from their home universities.
