The EUI/STG regularly organises outreach events in different regions in Africa that include high-level policy dialogues, training on topics related to transnational governance and engagement with alumni.
The outreach activities aim to reconnect with the YALP alumni in the region and enhance this network at regional level. Alumni are involved in the capacity development training across Africa with the aim of multiplying the knowledge and capacity developed through the YALP programme in Florence.
A first event focusing on the governance of migration took place in Kampala in July 2022.
