The Grants Office is responsible for all the matters related to Ph.D. funding. It is responsible for maintaining contact with all funding authorities, starting with the candidate’s selection process and throughout the academic cycle of researchers. It communicates information on the researcher’s study progress to the funding authorities in order to allow the proper processing of payments, and in certain cases directly manages the funding on behalf of the relevant authorities. Furthermore, it is fully responsible for the management of the 4th year grants (see chapter 8 of the Academic Rules and Regulations), as well as for the Parental Allowance funded by the EUI. The Grants Office administers and coordinates all the matters relating to researcher’s welfare.
