No separate funding application is required.
The application for admission to the EUI doctoral programme is automatically an application for a national grant.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be Romanian citizens with permanent residence in Romania.
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree + a master degree (usually 3 + 2 years) or equivalent qualification needed to study for a doctorate.
Grants and Allowances
Monthly Grant: € 1.440 (academic year 2023-24)
The Authority provides a monthly grant for the first three years of EUI Ph.D. Programme. The fourth year is covered by the EUI (2024 EUI monthly grant amount is 1,505 EUR per month, in addition to other allowances).
