The Dust of Time? Towards a 21st Century Constitutionalism

Does constitutionalism need to be revamped for the 21st century? The Constitutionalism and Politics Working Group at the EUI invite scholars from Europe and beyond to engage in a thinking process about how constitutions and constitutional lawyers should address present and future challenges.

Over the course of two days, established academics and early career scholars from around the world will debate how constitutionalism should respond to issues such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the climate emergency, the rise of populism and illiberalism, and the future of liberal constitutionalism.
