This webinar will present findings from RESPECT research on sustainability assessments and their usefulness for ex post monitoring and evaluation, using the recent EU-CARIFORUM EPA evaluation report as an example.
Tools to evaluate EU trade agreements include both ex-ante sustainability impact assessment (SIA) and ex post analysis. These are complemented by civil society mechanisms, such as Domestic Advisory Groups (DAGs). This webinar will present findings from RESPECT research on sustainability assessments and their usefulness for ex post monitoring and evaluation, using the recent EU-CARIFORUM EPA evaluation report as an example. Ample time will be reserved for participants’ questions and comments.
