African Renaissance: Young African Leaders in Florence

Join the première in Cinema La Compagnia of a short film about the first cohort of Young African Leaders in Florence.

Meet Edem, Tumaini, Idah and Phillip. Four fellows from Ghana, Malawi, Madagascar and Uganda tell the story of the first cohort of African fellows at the EUI's School of Transnational Governance. In this short film, the viewer learns how a new generation of policy leaders wants to transform the African continent.

The première of African Renaissance: Young African Leaders in Florence comes at a time where we celebrate the renewed Africa-Europe Partnership and the EUI-STG is preparing for the second phase of the Young African Leaders Programme.

Following the screening of the short film, the audience will be invited to take part in a discussion. The evening will close with a cocktail reception.
