Join the STG Policy Leader Fellows for a discussion on the future of climate action.

Moving forward on climate actions post COP 26, there is no doubt that the current policies or practices or pledges by countries are not enough. Lack of stronger commitments to curb emissions and failure to reach a consensus on ‘loss and damage’ finance for climate vulnerable countries only prove that ambitions have fallen short.

Addressing the multifaceted concerns of climate action, in this talk our policy leader fellows will discuss:

1. Low carbon development strategies in Africa;
2. The importance of contextualising climate change interventions in light of energy poverty and energy transitions in Sub-Saharan Africa;
3. Integration of climate mitigation into India’s waste sector policies following the footprints of EU.
