How can we communicate data on migration and the refugee experience in a more effective way? This STG talk will be an engaging and interactive session exploring public attitudes towards migration data and how narrative is shaped by our perceptions. We will examine migration data from the lens of different stakeholders in an experiential exercise, followed by a conversation on approaches to data communications in this sphere. The discussion will invite perspectives from policy, communications, and the lived experience of displacement.Speakers: Yen Mooi, Policy Leader FellowPuot Nyang Both, Florence School of Transnational GovernanceStephanie Acker, Migration Policy Center, Robert Schuman CentreLorenzo Piccoli, Migration Policy Center, Robert Schuman CentrePlease note this is an in-person event.
