Call for Papers - Apply by 15 April 2024
After four very successful conferences in September 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2023, the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre (ADG) at the European University Institute will host the Fifth Annual Graduate Conference on the History of European Integration at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, from 5 - 6 September 2024.
The Annual Graduate Conference on the History of European Integration provides a unique opportunity for PhD and early career researchers to discuss ongoing research related to the history of European integration. The conference will consist of panel sessions to discuss selected research papers, as well as debates on historiographical and methodological approaches to European integration research.
The Conference aims to provide an informal atmosphere in which new ideas and research directions, as well as advice on publishing and academic careers, can be openly shared and debated.

PhD and early career researchers (no more than 5 years from PhD completion) are invited to submit proposals. We encourage submissions on aspects of European cooperation and integration broadly conceived, twentieth century to the present.
