Nicolas Petit is Head of the EUI Law Department. His research in recent years has focused on EU and US competition law, competition and innovation, law and economics, and law in the context of technological change. He is known for his contributions to the development of the ‘more economic approach’ to competition law and policy, which emphasises the use of economics and empirical evidence in antitrust analysis. His most recent publication is Thoughtful Competition Law: Power and Reflexivity.
Iva Nenadić is the Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom at the Robert Schuman Centre and an Assistant Professor at the University of Dubrovnik’s Faculty of Media and Public Relations. Her research focuses on freedom of expression and media pluralism in the context of the growing and transformative impact of online platforms and artificial intelligence on news and information systems. The book mentioned in the video is titled Media Pluralism in the Digital Era (co-edited with Elda Brogi and Pier Luigi Parcu).
