The European University Institute (EUI), in collaboration with the University of Florence, the British Society of Population Studies and the Italian Association for Population Studies will host the 28th edition of PopFest, the Annual Population Postgraduate Conference, which will take place on 26-28 October 2022 at the EUI.
The event is an opportunity for graduate, postgraduate and PhD researchers from different Social Science disciplines to present and discuss their work together with their peers and to get feedback and ideas from fellow researchers in a supportive, international environment.
The call for abstracts to attend the conference is now open.
Submissions can include, but are not limited to, the following topics: families, fertility, sexual and reproductive health, internal and international migration, mobility, ageing, life course, inequality, health, historical demography, mortality and methodological approaches.
The abstract should include:
- Background & Motivation
- Questions & Objectives
- Data & Method
- Results
- Conclusions & Final remark
Abstracts for both oral presentations and posters are welcome. Please submit your abstract (maximum 300 words) through the online form.
The organisers also welcome extended abstracts (PDFs only, 2-4 pages) which should discuss questions, methods and results in more detail. Extended abstract shall be submitted via email, specifying your name and institution.
The deadline for submissions is 1, July 2022.
