The ongoing collaboration between the EUI and ESIL further strengthens the EUI's visibility to the network of researchers, scholars, and practitioners in the field of international law, in Europe and worldwide.

Under the newly signed agreement the ESIL Secretariat will continue to be located at the EUI, under the auspices of the EUI's Academy of European Law.

The ESIL Secretariat will work on the following activities, including but not limited to: membership management; financial oversight and reporting; administrative support for the ESIL Board, ESIL Interest Groups, and organisers of ESIL events; website editing; and day-to-day management and communication with members.

The European Society of International Law (ESIL) is the most prominent society of international lawyers in Europe. The Society's goals are to contribute to the rule of law in international relations and to promote the study of international law. ESIL was created in 2001 in response to the need for a general European network to bring together different stakeholders in the field of international law.

For more information on the Memorandum, please contact the Secretariat staff.
