Fostered by an initiative of the Robert Schuman Centre's Florence School of Regulation, the five-year agreement between the EUI and Politecnico di Torino will facilitate collaboration in the fields of higher education and research, namely political and social sciences, economics, law, history and civilisation, technology and engineering sciences, and architectural and industrial design.

Together, the institutions aim to implement a series of joint educational offers, benefitting faculty, students, researchers, and staff. Joint activities include:

  • the creation of teaching opportunities for doctoral candidates at the EUI and PoliTo;
  • the organisation of an exchange programme for researchers at the doctoral and post-doctoral levels;
  • the promotion of joint executive education trainings, conferences, collaborative research projects, sabbaticals, and visiting fellowships.

For over 160 years, the Politecnico di Torino has been recognised as one of the most prestigious public institutions at both the international and national levels, concerning education, research, technological transfer and services in all sectors of architecture and engineering.

Any further information on this partnership may be obtained from the EUI External Relations office.
