The EUI partners with the University of Zurich

The European University Institute (EUI) has signed a new partnership agreement with the University of Zurich (UZH).

The two Universities will collaborate in the fields of higher education and research, with a focus on the social and political sciences and humanities.

Together, the EUI and the UZH aim to implement a series of joint research activities and educational programmes, benefitting faculty, students, researchers and staff in both institutions.

Founded in 1833, the University of Zurich is the largest university in Switzerland, with an enrolment of over 26,500 students in 2019. It offers 100 subject areas and provides the most comprehensive academic programme in the country. UZH’s seven faculties and more than 150 academic departments are engaged in cutting-edge research. As a research university, UZH is also committed to research-based teaching.
