The two Universities will collaborate in the fields of higher education and research, with a focus on the social and political sciences and humanities.
Together, the EUI and the UZH aim to implement a series of joint research activities and educational programmes, benefitting faculty, students, researchers and staff in both institutions.
Founded in 1833, the University of Zurich is the largest university in Switzerland, with an enrolment of over 26,500 students in 2019.
