Biography

Marko Milenkovic is a senior research fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia. He is also an affiliated research fellow at the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development (CCSDD) part of Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna. His main research interests include legal transformation in the context of the European integration process, EU conditionality and public administration reforms. He has also published in the areas of environmental law, health law and state aid. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Bologna and Europa Kolleg Hamburg. He is a member of a steering committee of the Academic Research Network on EU Agencies and Institutional Innovation (TARN).

At the Robert Schuman Center for Advanced Studies, Marko focuses on the differentiated integration of the Western Balkan countries by looking specifically into their engagement with the EU agencies
