Piotr is a long-time member of the Polish delegation to the UNFCCC negotiations, where he focuses on the area of market mechanisms. He was the leading expert in that topic for the Polish COP Presidency for the COP 19 in Warsaw and COP 24 in Katowice. He was also chairing the CDM Executive Board and serves as a member of this international body. His domestic duties include research of various EU climate policies, both on the side of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS), but also covering those within the non-ETS area, e.g., the transport sector.
