Biography

Raffaele Ventura is a Research Associate at GlobalStat, part of the 'Knowledge, Governance and Transformations' research area led by Professor Gaby Umbach at the Robert Schuman Centre.

He is pursuing a PhD in International Studies at the University of Trento, where he is studying how climate and environmental changes affect international conflict and cooperation over transboundary natural resources.

He holds an MA in International Relations and Security from the University of Bologna (Forlì Campus), and an MA in Sustainable Development, Geopolitics of Natural Resources, and Arctic Studies from the Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale (SIOI).
