In our sessions, EUI members as well as external scholars present their own (soon-to-be) published research.
This gives you the opportunity to engage with scholars from outside the EUI and participate in discussions on their work, while also receiving feedback on your own—whether your research is already completed or still in progress. Contributions by early career (PhD and post-doc) researchers are particularly welcome.
The EUSWG is a multi- and interdisciplinary forum, hosting talks on a wide array of subjects, including EU public policies, politics, law, history, economics, political economy, and political theory.
While we are not tied to any particular theoretical or methodological approach, we particularly welcome presentations focusing on the dimensions of European integration and EU-level activity, rather than comparative studies between EU Member States.
We normally convene at least once a month, on Mondays from 17.00h to 18.30h, except during holidays.
The EUSWG closely collaborates with the European Governance and Politics Programme at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.
If you would like to join the EUSWG and contribute as a presenter of your own work or as a participant in the discussions, please send an email to: [email protected]
