HEC Working Papers

Members and former members of the Department of History and Civilization (professors, PhD researchers, fellows) can publish their work as a HEC Working Paper. HEC Working Papers are published electronically online in full text on Cadmus, the EUI Open Access institutional repository.

Submission

Authors who wish to publish a HEC Working Paper should submit a copy by e-mail attachment to the Departmental Coordinator. The paper should be in Word format, accompanied by an abstract (maximum 250 words) and a list of keywords (maximum 5).

Approval

The paper will be reviewed by one of the full-time professors, who will make a recommendation to the Department as to whether it is suitable for publication. The Department will then give its approval during one of its monthly meetings.

Formatting and publication

Once the working paper is approved by the Department, authors should:

- Ask the Departmental Coordinator for the series number
- Format the paper using the relevant template and following EUI Corporate Visual Identity guidelines
- Complete the Agreement to publish form
- Send both to the Departmental Coordinator for final check and publication.
