Call for proposals: 2018 Vibeke Sørensen Grants

The Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU) is launching a call for proposals for the 2018 edition of its Postgraduate Vibeke Sørensen Grants for visiting scholars.

Postgraduate students are invited to apply for this grant, which aims to encourage research on the history of European integration using primary sources. The first application deadline is 31st of March and is followed by another deadline in July. Successful applicants receive the chance to spend up to one month at the Historical Archives to do research.

The grant was created in 1993 by then President of the EUI Emile Noël with support from the European Commission and is named in honour of Ms Vibeke Sørensen, former researcher at the EUI History Department and staff of the HAEU.

Interested parties should submit a CV, a detailed research proposal including justification of the need to use the HAEU, a letter of recommendation and planned dates of stay in Florence to the HAEU.
