The Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) in the European Parliament and Historical Archives of the European Union are launching the 2018 edition of their grant programme.
The grants are aimed at researchers interested in the history and role of Christian Democracy and its impact on decisive moments in the process of European integration. All current postgraduate students and all postdoctoral researchers, three years from graduation, can apply by 15 June 2018.
This grant programme is designed to enable researchers to broaden their research by studying the primary sources held at the Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence, at the EPP Group’s archives in Brussels and/or at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in Sankt Augustin – Bonn. Successful applicants will receive a research grant of up to 5.000 € to cover all expenses.
The Selection Committee is composed of representatives of the EPP Group and the Director of the Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence.
