Transition from BPOS to Office 365

In mid-June, the email infrastructure for the EUI will be updated by Microsoft. The ICT Service will assist in the transition and support end-users as much as possible. A dedicated mailbox ([email protected]) has been created, where you can ask for help and information, and whatever questions may be of general interest will be listed on our Frequently Asked Questions page (FAQs).

 

We suggest you check these pages regularly, as they will be updated continuously during the transition period.

 

Preparing for the upgrade

Be sure to change your password between now and 14 June 2012. If you do not perform this important action you will have difficulties in accessing your email after the upgrade.

The upgrade will occur over the weekend of 16/17 June 2012. During this weekend you will be able to access your email if necessary, but we encourage everyone to stay out of the system. There may be periods when you are unable to access your email.

If you have a BlackBerry or other mobile device you will not be able to use it to access your mailbox over the upgrade weekend. On Monday after the upgrade we will provide you with more specific instructions for actions that you will need to take.
