As of Monday, 29th August 2016, the new, enhanced Printing Services will start all over the campus.
The following new features will be immediately available:
- Colour printing from all machines
- OCR (e.g. scan directly into a Word document) from all machines
- A3 printing from most machines
- New print quota system
- Free Colour printing quota extended to all Researchers, Fellows and Visitors
- Printing from mobile devices: just send an email with the attachment you want to print to [email protected] and collect your print job from any public printer
For logistical reasons, in some areas of the campus, new MultiFunction Printers are already in place. These are fully functional and ICT Service staff are on hand to help you: just wave at our User Support staff and we will come to your office and show you how you can do standard copying, printing and scanning.
Training sessions led directly by Ricoh and ICT Service staff will be provided to several categories of users (Researchers, Fellows, Departmental Coordinators, etc.): details and schedule will follow.
