Following the provisions of the new cleaning service, which came into force on 1st September 2018, new recycling collection bins will be available in all offices at the reopening of the Institute on 7th January 2019, replacing current waste bins.
Please note: offices with more than 4 occupants will be provided with larger recycling collection bins
Each bin will be emptied on a daily basis and its content will be transferred to public bins following waste recycling rules.
A quick reference guide on how to follow the correct disposal methods for general waste will be left on every desk: we kindly ask you to keep strictly to the instructions indicated in that sheet for a successful waste management policy.
We are also pleased to announce that innovative changes were introduced in the new tender specifications and improvements were offered by the company who was awarded the cleaning contract (B & B service), aimed at providing a better service to our community of users and at reducing the EUI environmental impact: the full list of innovations and additional services is available for consultation here.
