Horizontal coordination and events

Ensuring proper and effective planning, managing, and monitoring of resources and delivering impactful EUI events where ideas thrive.

The Horizontal Coordination and Events area ensures proper and effective planning, managing, and monitoring of resources across the Communications Service, overseeing compliance with administrative rules and regulations and facilitating internal coordination within the organisation.

Within this area, Events professionals organise institutional events where ideas take centre stage, supporting the co-creation of knowledge through interactive formats. This includes designing the EUI’s flagship event as well as collaborative internal events to showcase the breadth of original research done across the community and to encourage a reflection space for interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary collaboration.

The same area is responsible for organising key events in the EUI academic calendar, such as the annual Conferring Degree Ceremony and June Ball, the Welcome Reception for new Researchers, Master's Students and Fellows, as well as community events.
