Institutional Communications

The Institutional Communications team supports the shaping and maintenance of the Institute’s public image and reputation

The Institutional Communications team works to ensure that the EUI's mission, values, and key achievements are effectively conveyed to both the Institute's institutional and academic interlocutors and the public.

The team uses different internal communications tools to engage with the EUI community, ensure transparency and accountability, and facilitate information flows, which can also support external communications efforts.

Externally, the team addresses a broad range of stakeholder communities, including alumni, academia, the public and private sector with tailored communications products. The team also aims to raise the Institute’s visibility beyond academia through traditional and social media, reaching the public when appropriate.

The Institutional Communications team creates institutional content such as news and social media posts, engages in media relations, oversees the EUI website, and supports the visibility of key institutional events.

The team does so by:

  • Positioning the EUI as a hub for excellent research and training, co-creation, and broad dialogue with stakeholders in academia, the public and private sectors, as well as with the media and civil society.
  • Projecting the EUI as both a university and an institution that promotes core values such as diversity, equality, inclusion, and sustainability.
