What we provide

Discover how ICT supports the EUI community and newcomers and what services you have access to

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Service provides IT resources and support for all EUI members. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure technology solutions to support academic and administrative work.

We offer a wide range of services, including:

  • EUI computing account and email
  • Network storage and OneDrive cloud storage
  • Internet access (LAN, WiFi, VPN)
  • Research software and HPC (High Performance Computing)
  • Printing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Audio-visual and personal device support
  • Telephony support

Getting Started

New members receive their computing account details before arrival, based on information from EUI units (Departments, Academic Service, etc.).

  • Email
  • Access anywhere: portal.office365.com
  • 100 GB mailbox
  • Works on mobile (Android, iPhone, iPad, etc.)
  • Protected with spam/malware filtering (ATP)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) required
  • Personal & Shared Storage
  • Your personal G: (Drive is backed up twice daily, use it for all work data.)
  • Shared network areas available for collaboration.


Network Access

  • On campus: connect to EUI-WiFi or LAN using your EUI credentials.
  • Off campus: connect securely via VPN to access drives and intranet.


Research Software

Certain research software (e.g. MATLAB, Stata, R) is available for personal use and high-performance computing.


Printing, Scanning & Photocopying

MultiFunction Printers (MFPs) are available campus-wide and support:

  • Printing, photocopying, scanning (with OCR)
  • Printing from EUI or personal devices
  • Free scanning 


Support for Personal Devices

Assistance for laptops, smartphones, and tablets is available via the Portable Device Support Desk.

The EUI Helpdesk manages all ICT and facility requests.

ICT Security Tips

Keep your data safe:

  • Backup regularly (G: Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Never share your password or click suspicious links
  • Change your password immediately if compromised
