This conference explores the meaning, function and transformation of the Rule of Law within the European Union in the light of contemporary national and transnational challenges.

Invitation to Register

Between 10 – 11 June 2021, the University of Portsmouth, jointly with the European University Institute and the King’s College London, will co-organise an International Conference on ‘The Rule of Law in the EU: Consensus and Discontent’, to be held virtually. The conference will host 30 academics from 14 different European countries who will explore the meaning, function and transformation of the Rule of Law within the European Union in the light of contemporary national and transnational challenges.
