Professor Floridi, a renowned philosopher, will explore how AI as a new form of agency influences global democracies. He will address questions about whether AI is beneficial or obstructive for democracies, discuss its relationship to the ongoing academic discourse on AI and its influence on democracy, and assess its impact on philosophical and political discussions about AI. Professor Floridi, the Founding Director of the Digital Ethics Center and a Professor at Yale University, is a leading figure in contemporary philosophy and a pioneer in the philosophy of information and digital ethics. He actively participates in policy initiatives related to the ethical implications of digital technologies, collaborating with governments and companies worldwide.
