The agreement builds on the institutional Partnership Agreement signed in December 2024 between EUI and Kunsthistorisches Institut (KHI) and marks a significant step in strengthening collaboration and expanding access to important scholarly resources.
KHI is home to a renowned Photo Library comprising about 640,000 photographs in Italian art, from late Antiquity to the modern era and a specialised library in history, art history, architecture, European history, visual culture, media, and fashion. Today, the KHI Library offers access to over 300,000 volumes and a further 50,000 periodicals. Kubikat, the library’s online catalogue, provides access to the complete collections of the KHI and of three other prestigious leading German research institutes, making it one of the most comprehensive resources in the field of art history.
