Over the past two decades, the European University Institute (EUI) has offered hundreds of executive trainings across its different units and has supported the professional growth of thousands of policy experts from 160 countries.
The new 2023 Executive Education Catalogue presents more than 40 open-call courses to be held in 2023 covering a wide spectrum of public policy areas. Whether in Florence or online, hybrid or blended, trainings are designed to accelerate and enhance the skills of mid-career professionals responsible for shaping policy in a world of rapid evolution.
"The impacts of a pandemic, war, media disinformation, climate change and the challenges that accompany the responsible regulation of a global financial system, demand policy professionals be equipped with the practical tools and skills to design and implement effective policy solutions", said EUI President Renaud Dehousse.
Interested applicants will be able to choose the course that best suits their needs and career path. The programme covers a wide range of areas, including artificial intelligence, digital governance and media, climate and agile governance, migration, gender, democracy, economic governance and energy regulation, as well as skills development sessions such as negotiations and political entrepreneurship.
Whether you are a civil servant, a policy and private sector professional, a government official or working in banking or financial authorities, the EUI training courses will allow you to exchange ideas and experiences, while the intimacy of small class size creates a wealth of opportunities for networking, providing long-life connections and unique peer engagement.
Tailored trainings and summer schools
In addition to the overview of 2023 courses, the catalogue gives a brief introduction to other aspects of the EUI's executive education offering: tailored programmes for organisations are custom-built to satisfy specific training needs based on the subject areas of our open-call courses. The EUI regularly engages with partners and clients for the design of capacity building programmes and our project managers provide continuous support during the implementation and delivery of the training modules.
In addition, summer schools are designed to serve the needs of professionals seeking to enhance a specific set of skills. These programmes are delivered between June and July; the perfect timing to get a taste of the beauty of Florence.
Short courses and study visits can be offered upon request in line with all our four delivery modes (residential, online, hybrid and blended) and designed for mid-career professionals who are looking to level up their policymaking competencies and advance their professional goals.
